Hello everyone! :3 How are you doing? Here is a little Monthly Summary Report, I hope you will enjoy it! I will add pictures and thought like a proper journal, once a month! Don’t forget to follow me if you want to stay tuned :3
***It popped to my eyes that I just hit 16k subscribers! I am truly bewildered. Thank you so much for everything you do for me, I am flattered and this is my biggest dream coming through. I love the fact that you enjoy my videos and that I am able to help you. You gave me the strenght and passion to do so much more and please, EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU MUST KNOW THIS: I love you very much and I am always here for you. All my good feelings and positive energy goes to you on a daily basis. I hope the future will give me the means to do twice as much for you, because you truly deserve to be relaxed, happy and satisfied! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! MEOW!***
First of all, thank you for dropping by and read my diary! It is a very busy period and it is so refreshing to write something here, like I do on my special notepad most of the time.
I fill pages and pages of thoughts and memories and I always like to keep them close to me. I choose beautiful leather notebooks or decorated blocks of paper and slowly pour my soul into them.
I have always liked to write, ever since I can remember, but only four years ago was I formally advised to write as a therapeutic practice. It helped a lot, so if you do not have the habit already, I advice you start keeping a journal, a silent paper witness of your thought processes and dreams and fears.
August has been a busy month, full of things to do, video making, collaborations, experiments and planning.
I am so excited and I am working hard to gather ideas to give you the best ASMR experience. I have been experimenting a lot with painting, watching aquerel tutorials to learn a little bit of technique.
Here is my most recent painting, I am very shy but I hope you appreciate the improvement:
The sweet painter Sowilo (Wolfberry Whisper), gave me an intensive course of watercolors when he was here. It was very relaxing and I hope I will be able to record a video showing you a simple aquerel painting really soon. Would you like this idea? Here is a picture of the little painting lesson Sowilo gave me (check out our Blog with Art and Poetry):
So my program for this month is to focus on the following things:
- Writing ASMRtist Reviews (I have got many names and I am still processing a lot of information. Time is very little, so I am taking it slowly, but I am not forgetting about it at all! I love writing little articles and I will dedicate to that slowly but steadily)
- Trying to incorporate painting sounds to my videos and show you a little bit of what I do on a daily basis. Painting is such a meditative practise. I hope I will be able to keep it up and do it consistently like I have been until now. Practice makes things look beautiful!
- Showing you my favourite books, as you know that I have towers of them and this is kind of an urgent video to make, but I will explain why later on
- Create a special mp3 for relaxation, maybe a whispered thing, maybe a soundscape. I will put it on this website, what would you prefer?
- Upload content in Enlish, Spanish, Italian and French. I haven’t done french in a long while, je m’excuse. J’espère pouvoir enregistrer une nouvelle vidéo en français bientôt!
I read all your comments and messages. It takes me some time to reply now, because I was not expecting such a huge amount of contacts! I am grateful for every one of you and if I don’t reply in a written form, I will do it either in a video or in the FAQ Sections on this website.
Once again, I have no words to express how bewildered I am. ASMR is such a huge part of my reality, and I feel like a restless hunter, constantly looking for tingly sounds and delicious triggering preys to offer you. Would that be my cat side?
Oh, last but not least: I am reading American Pastoral by Philip Roth. Such an amazing book. Have you read it?
This quote, I found of particular interest. Not strictly ASMR related, but rather Life-related:
“You fight your superficiality, your shallowness, so as to try to come at people without unreal expectations, without an overload of bias or hope or arrogance, as untanklike as you can be, sans cannon and machine guns and steel plating half a foot thick; you come at them unmenacingly on your own ten toes instead of tearing up the turf with your caterpillar treads, take them on with an open mind, as equals, man to man, as we used to say, and yet you never fail to get them wrong. You might as well have the brain of a tank. You get them wrong before you meet them, while you’re anticipating meeting them; you get them wrong while you’re with them; and then you go home to tell somebody else about the meeting and you get them all wrong again. Since the same generally goes for them with you, the whole thing is really a dazzling illusion. … The fact remains that getting people right is not what living is all about anyway. It’s getting them wrong that is living, getting them wrong and wrong and wrong and then, on careful reconsideration, getting them wrong again. That’s how we know we’re alive: we’re wrong. Maybe the best thing would be to forget being right or wrong about people and just go along for the ride. But if you can do that — well, lucky you.”
Thank you for reading me and supporting me through this beautiful ASMR Journey. You are so amazing and I need to THANK YOU FOR BEING SO SPECIAL.
Wishing you a fantastic day,
